Bow Wow still considering Retirement

In 2009, Bow Wow announced his New Jack City, Part II album would be his final release. Having been in the game for nine years, he felt it was time to move on. Bow Wow said he was going to refocus his energy on his budding acting career.

Less than six months following his "retirement," Bow Wow signed with Cash Money Records. For years, Bow Wow had been flirting with the label. Birdman had produced tracks for him and he often recorded with Lil Wayne.

After signing with Cash Money Records, Bow Wow began working on a new album. Bow Wow remained retired for a total of six months before he was back at it. But, after a solid role in the Tyler Perry movie, Madea's Big Happy Family, he is thinking retirement again.

Bow Wow says he may seriously retire following the release of his next album, his Cash Money debut. In the meantime, Bow Wow says he will focus on maintaining in the game, as the focus has shifted more to the street artists.
