Usually, when a G-Unit artist is referring to Diddy, not too many nice things are being said. 50 Cent and Diddy have clashed several times. Their most recent run-in came last summer. However, after sitting down with Jay-Z, their latest issues were resolved.

When G-Unit had their run upon the top of the game, it came when Tony Yayo was in prison. In his place was Tennessee rapper, Young Buck. By the time Tony Yayo began releasing music, G-Unit had fallen from popularity. As a result, he does not receive the buzz of other G-Unit Records artists.

In recent years, some have began to see Tony Yayo as a joke, one site voted him the worst rapper ever. Many people have negative things to say about Tony Yayo. Despite this, he continues to make music and be the person he is. Before he was well-known, Tony Yayo attended a meeting between Diddy and 50 Cent.

During this meeting, Diddy warned Tony Yayo about the haters. Yayo said Diddy told him no matter what he does, the people are going to hate on him. Tony Yayo said haters have to love something about a person to spend so much time and energy on them. Quoting Diddy, Yayo said they hate because of the "three Bs, bank accounts, Bentleys, and bitches."
