With the government still bickering, the 'Occupy' movement is quickly expanding. At Occupy Wall Street on Wall Street in New York City, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, and Immortal Technique have visited already.

Outside of New York, Bun B has joined the Occupy Houston movement. Cities all over the world are coming together, with people filling their main streets. Atlanta also has an 'Occupy' movement.

Hip hop has obviously joined the 'Occupy' movement, with many hip hop stars in New York. Bun B is a part of the Houston movement and Killer Mike recently joined the Occupy Atlanta movement.

Speaking on the situation, Killer Mike said "There's not enough opportunity for young people to take advantage of the American dream." Killer Mike also said he was surprised there were not more people involved in the Occupy Atlanta movement. Occupy Atlanta and Atlanta Hip Hop Day will be teaming up for a festival in Woodruff Park on October 22-23, headlined by Afrika Bambaattaa.
