Nas talks "Me and Mr. Jones" collaboration with Amy Winehouse

Things have greatly changed over the past four years. At the time, Amy Winehouse was preparing for the release of her classic debut album, Back to Black. Exactly four years ago, the album was released.

However, the United States would not become acquainted with Amy Winehouse until the summer of 2007. It was during her United States debut, when Winehouse opened up on her background.

Speaking on her favorite rappers, Amy Winehouse revealed she was big on Nas and Jay-Z. Her debut album contained a song called "Me and Mr. Jones." Many believed this song was about Nas.

This summer, Amy Winehouse sadly died and Nas was among the people speaking on her behalf. Nas reflected on the song, saying he could not remember who told him about it. However, Nas revealed he did know about the track before it was released. Before Winehouse's untimely death, Nas said they were going to do a joint birthday celebration.
