Fans have gotten used to Rick Ross releasing a new album every year, during the spring, or in the middle of the summer. After a highly-successful 2010, fans geared up for a new Rick Ross album in 2011. As soon as the New Year rang, Rick Ross announced his fifth studio album, God Forgives, I  Don't.

Rick Ross said the first single would be called "Made Men" and it would feature Drake. Before the end of January, the song had officially leaked to the internet. Like the past two years, Rick Ross dominated the news and the radio. However, Rick Ross landed more collaborations than Lil Wayne.

It was easy to forget Rick Ross had no songs of his own out, with his features on "John (If I Die Today)" and "I'm on One." But, the biggest move by Rick Ross was the Maybach Music expansion and the deal with Warner Bros. Records. Those deals established his business acumen and introduced the world to his roster of talent. Meek Mill provided the world with his "Tupac Back" anthem, with Ross on the hook.

Late in the summer, during a Maybach Music video shoot, Rick Ross announced his God Forgives, I Don't album was in the works and coming soon. DJ Khaled and Drake both discussed the album, saying it would be a classic. Known for his confidence, Rick Ross boldly said he has been number two in the rap game for a while, but this would change when his album came out. Yesterday, Rick Ross released two Nicki Minaj-assisted songs, which both hit iTunes this Friday.

More than likely, the songs are singles from God Forgives, I Don't. Rick Ross recently revealed, during an interview with Funkmaster Flex, that his long-awaited album will be released on December 13. Rick Ross also reflected on his two beefs of 2011, Kreayshawn and Young Jeezy. While all is well with Kreayshawn and the White Girl Mob, Rick Ross said he does not see peace between he and Young Jeezy any time soon.
