Slick Rick reflects on "The Great Adventures of Slick Rick" [VIDEO]

During an interview with Red Bull's Five out of Five series, the legendary Slick Rick discussed his classic story-telling album, The Great Adventures of Slick Rick. The album is known for his single, "Children's Story." However, the album also featured such tracks as "Mona Lisa" and "Teenage Story."

Thinking back on the album, Slick Rick said he had to do everything himself. Slick Rick revealed he made the whole album. Everything from making the records, the music, and the cuts. Slick Rick said he had to make sure the tracks would sell, himself.

Slick Rick also spoke on his "Children's Story" single from the album. The song is simply a story where the imagination runs wild, says Slick Rick.
