The year of 2003 was big for 50 Cent and helped mold him into the dominant force he is today. However, at the time, 50 Cent was fighting for position. Had it not been for the stars of the time, 50 Cent may not have had the success he has had in the game.

Lil' Kim was among the major stars who helped 50 Cent gain entry into the game. A few months following the release of his Interscope debut, Get Rich or Die Tryin', 50 Cent was featured on "Magic Stick," a song with Lil' Kim.

Originally, the song was slated to appear on 50 Cent's album, but it was not completed in time. This song would lead to the feud between the New York rappers. 50 Cent refused to participate in a music video for "Magic Stick" and refused to perform the song with Kim.

Because of this, Lil' Kim began dissing 50 Cent and calling him out. In 2005, Lil' Kim sided with The Game in his feud against 50. She went as far as to feature the Compton rapper on her last album, The Naked Truth. The album proved to be her last, for a while, as Lil' Kim has been working on the mixtape level over the past six years.

In 2007, Lil' Kim ended her feud with 50 Cent and recorded with him for "Wanna Lick," the first single off the sophomore G-Unit effort. With her feud set aside with 50 Cent, Lil' Kim has repeatedly said she has nothing but love and respect for 50 Cent. Recently, new G-Unit signee, Shawty Lo, performed in Atlanta and brought out Lil' Kim.

During the show, Lil' Kim praised Shawty Lo and the new G-Unit South. She went on to say she is also a part of the G-Unit family and they have big things in store. Those comments allude to the possibility of Lil' Kim signing with G-Unit Records in the near future. While 50 Cent is still tied up in his contract with longtime label, Interscope Records, G-Unit Records is now under EMI Records.
