Hip hop has gone digitial with the revolution of Twitter. Most rappers have been on Twitter since 2009. Despite his popularity, Lil Wayne was reluctant to join the site. But, right before his prison sentence, he joined the site.

Since joining Twitter, Lil Wayne has become one of the biggest names. In not even a year's time the Cash Money rapper already has one million followers. Many celebrities on the site have had problems since joining.

In 2009, someone created a Twitter in Kanye West's name and began making posts. West complained to the site and made them deactivate the account. Recently, Lil Wayne's Twitter was hacked and his followers were thrown off.

Suddenly, Lil Wayne began sending messages to 50 Cent and later Soulja Boy, taunting him for his low album sales. As more posts were made, Wayne seemingly admitted to being raped in prison, and said that was the real reason he made "6'7." But, after all of the crazy messages, including one about him having withdrawals from not kissing Birdman in a year, his camp admitted he had been hacked.
