Lil Wayne launches "I Am Music II" tour

After a few months of recording, Lil Wayne is ready to reconnect with his fans. Even when he went to prison, Lil Wayne set things up where he would still be close to his fans. His last week as a free man saw Wayne film nine music videos. These videos were released throughout 2010.

Lil Wayne released two successful albums during his time away and immediately started his next. Wayne is currently promoting his long-awaited album, Tha Carter IV. Initially set for release two years ago, in 2009, Lil Wayne plans to release it in May. In the meantime, he plans to tour.

Earlier this month, Lil Wayne revealed he and Nicki Minaj were going to headline the I Am Music II tour. Two days ago, the two officially went off on tour. Lil Wayne will be making appearances in all of the major cities of the United States. Along the way, he will be connecting with his fans and performing some of his new songs.

On May 16, 2011, Lil Wayne will have more in store with the official release of Tha Carter IV.
