Barely two months following his own comeback, Kanye West announced he and Jay-Z would release their own album. Following a week of speculation, Jay-Z confirmed Watch the Throne. Less than a week later, the first single, "H.A.M.," was released.
It seemed as if the album would definitely be on the way. The two rappers took over a Manhattan hotel room to record. A March 8 release date was announced. But, out of nowhere, the promotion for the album stopped.
Given the busy schedule of both rappers, it is difficult to have them at the same place for long. Producer, Young Guru, has been working with them on the album. Recently, he stated how he was trying to get the two rappers to hurry up and finish the album.
Guru said the world needs to hear this album because it is already a classic. Watch the Throne is set for a spring 2011 release date.
