Over the past three years, Jay-Z has been trying to build Roc Nation into the next big music empire. Jay-Z dominated the rap game through his label, Roc-A-Fella Records. But, when he launched Roc Nation, Jay-Z decided to branch out.
Branching out with Roc Nation has led Jay-Z to sign such artists as K. Koke. Jay-Z signed K. Koke based upon his talents, but he may end up dropping him due to external forces. Earlier today, K. Koke was brought up on murder charges.
K. Koke was arrested for shooting a man in the back at a Harlesdan train station on March 9. He was arrested after British Transport Police raided his home last week. K. Koke is among five other men tied to this shooting, but his case is going to be higher publicized.
Roc Nation added K. Koke to their roster back in January of 2011.
