Sabu is controlling his own Destiny

Looking at the current hip hop scene, Sabu often thinks "Been there, done that." His career spans well over thirty years, but he is still creating music. Life throws plenty of curveballs and Sabu had his fair share.

Overall, Sabu is happy with what hip hop has done for him and his family. Because he only dealt with music, Sabu has been able to provide for his family without leaving the homefront. The reward is a close relationship with his kids.

With his children entering adulthood, Sabu feels comfortable getting back into the game. He was taking things slow, until he decided it was time to get back into the game. But, this time around, it will be played by his own rules.

For ten years, Sabu has been the head of Cment Boot Music Group. In the tenth year, Sabu plans to release several projects from the company. Not only is he putting out music, he will also be working on a few film projects as well. Over the years, Sabu has provided theme music for commercials, but he will be starring in a few commercials this summer.

Earlier this month, Hip Hop Vibe landed an interview with the legend and he said more will be revealed. In a brief update, he revealed a little more, but wanted to keep the major news under wraps. Still, Sabu parted with the words, "more to be revealed." Expect a major project from Cment Boot Music Group sometime this year.
