Considered a hip hop legend, in his own right, DMC recently took time to talk about Tupac Shakur. Fifteen years ago, this September, Shakur was taken away from the world. Tupac Shakur is the most-known rapper of all-time, not to mention the highest-selling.
DMC feels Tupac should be credited by all as a gifted emcee. The primary reason DMC gives credit to Tupac is because of his versatility. He credited him for being able to craft scathing disses, such as "Hit 'Em Up" and then create tracks like "Dear Mama."
In addition to praising Tupac for being versatile, DMC compared him to Trech. Following Tupac Shakur's untimely death, Trech fueled stories about Shakur still being alive when he said he saw him. DMC said he had a combination of Trech, Zulu Nation, and Afrika Bambaataa. All of this wrapped inside of him is what made Tupac, in DMC's eyes, the best emcee of all-time.
