Kanye West vents frustrations in England

Due to his antics, people think of Kanye West as one of the crazy rappers. This comes from many of the comments West has made about anything that comes to his mind. Throughout his career, he has been very outspoken about everything.

Kanye West met his match when he called out Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. When he snatched the microphone from Swift, he faced a major media backlash. The backlash nearly cost him his career.

Despite seemingly letting all of his emotions out on his 2010 comeback, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kanye West still harbors feelings of resentment. West told an England crowd, he often receives looks from people as if he is insane.

Kanye West explained he is not crazy, but only speaking his mind. He said one day people will realize all he has ever said or done has been for someone else. West said his Bush comments were for the people of New Orleans. The Chicago rapper said his outrageous statements are in the defense of good music and fair judgment.

Kanye West wins 'Best Male Hip Hop Artist' at BET Awards

Two of the biggest winners of the 2011 BET Awards were Kanye West and Chris Brown. Two years ago, both were at all-time lows in their respective careers. Brown, seemingly at the peak of his career, blew it all in a public fight with Rihanna. Kanye West would lose his following seven months later at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

However, in 2010, both artists released music that could not be denied by the public. West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy touched all the touchy topics. He spoke of how the media had treated him and how he still was going to dominate the game. Chris Brown also laid his demons to rest.

Kanye West released several hit singles that helped re-establish himself, following a two year absence. Before going on his usual hiatus, Kanye West had released an R&B album. Following a two year break, and a stint in R&B, Kanye West overcame dominant years from both Rick Ross and Eminem to win the top award in hip hop.
