Lil Boosie denied bail in Drug Case

Things are not looking good for Lil Boosie. The rapper has been facing murder charges for some time. Last year, Lil Boosie was arrested and sent to jail for the crime. Boosie apparently was behind an ordered hit.

Despite the opposition, Lil Boosie and those close to him have been working hard to prove his innocence. Lil Boosie and the people close to him are confident he will be free. Last month, the Baton Rouge rapper took a major hit, when he was caught with drugs.

According to reports, a man was at Lil Boosie's jail cell, slipping him coedine. The man accused of sending drugs to the rapper is Titus Franklin. Franklin came to bail Lil Boosie out, when it was discovered he had bailed out six other drug cases in the past two years.

The opposing lawyer also said Lil Boosie has been given too many chances and he has spit in the face of Lady Justice.

Lil' Boosie caught trying to Smuggle Codeine into Prison

For nearly a year, Lil' Boosie has been behind bars. Currently, he is serving time for the first degree murder of Terry Boyd. During his time in prison, several of his peers have shown him support.

Lil' Boosie has been relatively calm in prison, until his latest brush with the law. The Baton Rogue rapper arranged to have codeine sent to him while behind bars. However, an undercover agent arranged things.

Three men, including Boosie, have been charged with conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution. Lil' Boosie was hit with another charge, inciting a felony.

Boosie and two other men were trying to smuggle the popular "syrup" into the prison.

Lil' Boosie may end up Catching a Break

Things have not been going so well for Lil' Boosie in the days since "Wipe Me Down." The Baton Rouge has been caught up in a murder trial since 2009. Recently, the D.A. in the case against Boosie decided to use his music against him.

Lil' Boosie has a song called "Fuck 'Em All," in which he disses the D.A. for his role in the case against him. The D.A. has decided to use this against him in the case. But, Jayson Williams, his lawyer, feels the music should not be used against him.

Williams is filing an injunction in Boosie's favor to have the D.A. thrown off the case. The problem is he feels he has based his entire case on hearing the song. In the song, Lil' Boosie calls the D.A. racist and tells him to go to hell.

Lil' Boosie's court hearing Postponed

On October 21, 2009, Torry Boyd was murdered in his Louisiana home. A bullet came through the window of his home, which led to his untimely death. The murder was immediately tied to Baton Rouge rapper, Lil' Boosie.

The first court hearing for Lil' Boosie was held in June 2010. During the hearing, Boosie spoke. When it was time for him to plea, the rapper pleaded 'Not Guilty.' Lil' Boosie is facing first-degree murder charges.

The next court hearing was supposed to take place today. But, it has been announced by Baton Rouge media that it has been postponed. It is Lil' Boosie and three other men facing charges. If convicted, the rapper could face the death penalty.
