Before they had even met, Snoop Dogg was a big fan of Wiz Khalifa. Any time he was asked about up-and-coming rappers, Snoop Dogg often pointed towards Wiz. When the two met, they instantly hit it off. One of the main reasons they got along so well was because they both loved marijuana.

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa's relationship stems much farther than hip hop. Towards the end of the NFL season, both rappers rooted for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The rappers recorded several songs together during this period of time and soon plan to release them. Snoop Dogg said they have so many more projects coming up.

The two rappers teamed up for a movie, High School, which will be released later this year. The music they recorded together will be a part of the official soundtrack for the movie. Despite being close to Wiz Khalifa, now, Snoop Dogg revealed it was his son who turned him onto Wiz. Had it not been for him, he probably would not have known about Wiz Khalifa until the release of "Black & Yellow."
