Mr. Porter talks Eminem beefs and Loyalty

Throughout his career, Eminem has been involved in many beefs. In the past, he has had issues with Benzino and Ja Rule. Most recently, Eminem has been feuding with Nick Cannon. Regardless of who goes after Em, he can count on Mr. Porter.

After making it big in 1999, Eminem helped his childhood friends from Detroit enter the game. Together with Eminem, the friends made up D12. In 2000, they released their debut album. Mr. Porter ended up in the game because of Eminem and he is forever loyal.

Now, Mr. Porter is a star in his own right as one of the best hip hop producers. He said he will always have Eminem's back. Mr. Porter knows beef comes with the territory and he will always side with Eminem at the end of the day. He said they are all one unit, but looking back, they could have handled things differently than they did.

Nicki Minaj says Lil Wayne's Beat Selection, alone, Will Make "Tha Carter IV" a Classic

Lil Wayne has been on a rampage since returning from prison and he is already working on Tha Carter IV. Initially due in 2009, the album has suffered several delays. Unlike most rappers, though, Lil Wayne has back-up albums.

The album is close to being done, as Lil Wayne has been very energetic. So far, the only people who have had a chance to listen to the music are the people on his team. Nicki Minaj is very impressed so far.

Last year, Nicki Minaj said she felt Tha Carter IV would become a classic album. After hearing some of the beats, Nicki is convinced the album will be a classic. Ever since coming out of jail, Wayne's lyrical level has been elevated.

Saigon discusses the State of Hip Hop

For six years, Saigon has been waiting to release his debut album, The Greatest Story Never Told. With the release of the album right around the corner, Saigon is making rounds with the media. Most recently, he talked with SOHH.com.

Saigon discussed with the site the state of the hip hop community and his struggles. He discussed his days with Atlantic Records and how they only let him work with Trey Songz. Saigon announced Trey Songz would be on the album.

The conversation soon shifted to the state of the hip hop community. Saigon is not impressed with how commercial the game has become. He said hip hop is nothing more than promotion for clothing and liquor.

When his music is finally released, Saigon plans on shifting the focus back on the music and away from the business.

DJ Kool Herc blasts the Health Care System

As one of hip hop's founding fathers, DJ Kool Herc had almost fallen completely from the news. But, over the past few weeks, Herc has been at the top of the headlines. An illness has landed the famous DJ in the hospital.

DJ Premier has been releasing information about DJ Kool Herc. It was revealed that Kool Herc could not afford his medical bills. Yesterday, his sister set up a PayPal where people could donate to Herc. Things have not been going well for DJ Kool Herc.

For the first time since the ordeal was made public, DJ Kool Herc has spoken out. He said there should not be any more poor people and people who cannot take care of themselves. Kool Herc said lack of proper health care for all has been going on too long.

DJ Kool Herc is angry and he feels it is time for equal health care for everyone, as people should not still be fighting for something like this.

Fabolous faces Assault Charges in Atlanta

Fabolous has been named in a lawsuit in Atlanta, the details have flooded the internet. Throughout the course of his career, Fabolous has been accused of many things. Last year, his name was connected to a New York City murder.

Recently, Fabolous was in Atlanta and he was hanging out in the club. A bartender at the club that night, Octavious Butler, is suing the platinum rapper. He says Fabolous attacked him for no reason with his fist at the club.

Butler claims Fabolous also hit him in the head with a glass bottle, all for no apparent reason. The lawsuit was filed earlier this week in Fulton County Superior Court. Butler claims Fab was not alone in his assault.

Redman says he Almost Died

Recently, hip hop veteran, Redman, discussed some of the worst moments of his life. While he has enjoyed a long and successful career in rap, it has not been all good for the New Jersey rapper. Red said he had a horrible experience four days after Michael Jackson died.

Much like the rest of the world, Redman was in shock over the death of the legend. At the time, he was touring in South America, and he was waiting on his next flight. While waiting, Redman had some chicken.

After eating the chicken, Redman said he got "as sick as a dog." The food did not agree with him and it gave him a headache. Red admitted he ran down a hallway in his underwear and almost jumped off a building.

Eventually, doctors came to assist Redman and he was placed on four days of bedrest with an IV hooked to him. Upon getting off, he was as good as new.

Tech N9ne tells about Lil Wayne/T-Pain collaboration

Following the popularity of "Got Money," Lil Wayne and T-Pain decided to team up. Initially, many thought it was a joke when Wayne said they would become T-Wayne. But, following their initial hit and the success of "Can't Believe It," fans were preparing for the album.

Lil Wayne had major plans for 2009, but they were all changed when he learned he had to go to prison. In an effort to keep his buzz alive, the focus shifted to promoting Young Money. Lil Wayne released their album in 2009 and prepared for Riker's Island. T-Pain's career went through a rough patch.

Now, Lil Wayne is out of prison and back in the studio. T-Pain is currently working on putting together a new album. According to Tech N9ne, who teamed up with Lil Wayne, while he was in prison, the two are recording new music for their upcoming solo albums. The two will begin building buzz by picking up where they left off in 2008.

Tech N9ne is exicted about the collaboration, as it will bring him major exposure to be on a single alongside the likes of Lil Wayne and T-Pain. Despite marketing himself as an underground rapper, he is ready to step out into the limelight.

Jim Jones releasing "Capo" on E1 instead of Sony

During the Roc-A-Fella days, Jim Jones began rapping, but he did not sign with the Roc. Instead, he established a deal with Koch Records and he released two albums with the label. His third album came in 2006 and made Jones a household name.

In 2006, Jim Jones was feuding with Jay-Z. Tired of the frequent disses, Jay-Z began responding. He boasted about how much money he makes and how many more records he sells. Jay-Z also scoffed at the fact that Jim Jones was on an independent label.

Jim Jones replied that he also had an A&R job with Columbia Records. Soon after the news was made public, Jones signed an artist deal with the label. He planned to release his next album through the imprint.

Ever since last year, Jim Jones has been recording, Capo, his fifth studio album. The album process has taken many wild turns. In a strange turn of events, Jim Jones has decided to release the album on his former label, Koch (E1) as opposed to Sony. Due to the relationship between Sony and Koch Entertainment, they have no issue in allowing Jones to do this.

On the Rise: Brandon Cain

North Carolina has a burgeoning hip hop scene in almost each part of the state. There is a major movement going on in the Winston-Salem area. Ever since 2008, Tr'e Game Entertainment has been the biggest hip hop movement in the Triad.

The Tre' Game movement has been spearheaded by Brandon Cain and Nathyl Snipes. The two have been working on expanding the label and have plans of expanding outside of North Carolina.

Not only does Tre Game have artists signed to the label, but they also have a DVD series. The series will be coming to Hip Hop Vibe in the near future and Cain, along with Snipes, will serve as the executive producers.

Recently, Hip Hop Vibe landed an interview with the rising, young, executive.

What made you interested in the music industry?
I have always been a music-head, but my friend Chevy Tez, also a co-founder got me into rapping.

Did you ever pursue a career in music?
No, not until I started Tre Game Entertainment.

How did you and Nathyl Snipes meet?
We were raised in the same project, Kimberly Park AKA B.D.P.!!!

Who is the artist on Tre Game to look out for?
T.G.Y.G., is coming soon.

How long has the Tre Game movement been going on?
Ever since 2008, but the label was not officially launched until January 1, 2009.
 
There have been several attempts from North Carolina artists to break into the game, will Tre Game be the movement to put North Carolina on the top and keep them there?
Indeed, are music is fueled by the fans. When the fans want you on top, it's inevitable.You feel me?

Does Tre Game do shows at any clubs in the area?
Man, we have done over eighty shows all over NC, just in 2010! That's what we do show and show out!!

As co-CEO of Tre Game, what part of the business do you oversee? Well, it's only two active founders working in Tre Game, so I oversee the money, booking, contracts, basically all the paper work.

What advice would you offer to anyone trying to become a music executive? Always ask question if you don't understand.

Is Tre Game currently looking to expand the roster?
We are always looking to add talented artists to the label.

What other business ventures do you have going on?
We have the clothing line self-titled Tre' Game, Tre' Game Kids, and Baby Tre' Game. We also invested in our education, so when we master are trade we can offer jobs in our community.

How have you managed to stay successful in these tough econmic times?
Supply and demand.

Can you give some details about the "Tre Game" series, which will be airing on Hip Hop Vibe?
