Jeezy channels Biggie and Tupac on New Album
Music from the long-awaited Jeezy album, Thug Motivation has finally been released. He has a song with Ester Dean titled, "Mamma Told Me," which was released a few days ago. For this album, he has a new attitude and a new style. In order to show this change, Jeezy dropped Young from his name.
When speaking on the current state of the rap game, Jeezy said that he feels as if he is the last man standing. He said that he has been sitting back trying to redefine the game. In his mind, hip hop is still stuck on Tupac and Biggie. Jeezy said that they never need to be forgotten, but it is time to move on.
Trying to convince the game to move on, Jeezy feels that it is up to him to carry that torch. He said that if they were still here, they would want the game to move forward. Being four albums deep, following the release of Thug Motivation 103, Jeezy feels that it is up to him to make that leap.
