Five years after Kanye West called George W. Bush out during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Bush spoke out. He said the comments made by Kanye West hurt him. Bush also said that was the lowest point in his presidency.

Kanye West and the former president communicated through the media for months. West apologized for his remark, saying that is how it seemed. Bush made it clear he did and does care about black people.

After his controversy with Taylor Swift, Kanye West said he knows how Bush felt during that time. Kanye West has since returned to the top of the rap game. During the first week of sales, his comeback album went platinum.

Former Cash Money Records producer, Mannie Fresh, recently spoke out to Kanye West. Despite getting off relatively easy for most of his comments, he told him he should consider other people's feelings. The only time Kanye West really stopped to think was after the Taylor Swift incident. Mannie Fresh said Kanye could be in a mess if he ever messed up on his taxes with all the trash he talks.
