Birdman speaks on Cash Money's success

Cash Money Records is clearly the most-dominant record label in the music industry. The label has risen above the other subsidiary labels to become a true contender. At the head of all of this is Birdman, also one of the label's biggest stars. Recently, he discussed the success his label has had.

Last year, Cash Money's Young Money imprint dominated the hip hop game. Drake proved himself to be a true star, holding down the fort while Lil Wayne was in prison. In the middle of Drake's promotional run, Nicki Minaj became a major star. Together, the two dominated 2010.

Birdman said to expect more of the same from the label with more stars and Lil Wayne free. This year, Cash Money Records intends to release albums from Birdman, Mack Maine, Drake, Lil' Twist, Nicki Minaj, Shanell, Kevin Rudolf, Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, and Tyga. Bow Wow will be among the first new releases from Cash Money Records in 2011.
