Earlier this month, Yelawolf announced his debut album, which was titled Radioactive, would be released on September 27. Yelawolf was slated to go head-to-head with J. Cole, who has his album lined up for the same release date.
With fans marking their calendars for September 27, Yelawolf decided to change his plans. The album is now lined up for a release date on October 25. Describing the album, Yealwolf said Radioactive is his life's work.
Eminem also spoke on Radioactive, saying he cannot wait for the world to hear his album. Having already heard the album, the Shady Records CEO said the album is a classic. Eminem also credited Yelawolf's original style.
