Red Cafe to release Bad Boy debut on Valentine's Day 2012

Two years ago, Diddy said there would be some major changes coming to Bad Boy Records. For years, Bad Boy Records had been distributed by Atlantic Records. The Atlantic years were among the roughest in Bad Boy history.
Diddy announced Bad Boy Records would be entering a new distribution deal with Interscope Records. However, the current artists signed to Bad Boy through Atlantic would stay with Atlantic. All new artists would be signed to Bad Boy through Interscope.
During the spring of 2009, Diddy announced Red Cafe had signed with Bad Boy. He also said he would have a renewed focus on his record label. Red Cafe was going to be the new flagship artist of the label and he was the only artist shifted to Interscope Records.
Over the past two years, Bad Boy Records has moved fully to Interscope Records. Red Cafe has been on the mixtape scene for years, including his years with Bad Boy Records. Now, though Red Cafe and Diddy have discussed his future with Bad Boy. Red Cafe said Diddy is finally ready to market him and his long-awaited debut album will be released on February 14, 2011.
Red Cafe said he wanted to pick a release date everyone would remember.
