Six years ago today, Young Jeezy released his official debut album, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Young Jeezy dominated the summer of 2005. Providing such hits as "And Then What" and "Soul Survivor," Jeezy had finally hit the big time.

One of the biggest artists on the Def Jam roster, Young Jeezy has been waiting three years to release his latest album. Following consecutive releases in 2005 and 2006, Young Jeezy took time off to release 2008's The Recession.

Following the release of this, Young Jeezy went to Miami to record his album, Thug Motivation 103. Last summer, he recorded a hit in "Lose My Mind." Young Jeezy said the album was not released because he was caught up on the celebrity scene.

Recently, Young Jeezy performed at a concert with Jay-Z and Kanye West. During the performance, he announced his long-awaited album would finally be released in September.
