Ever since he emerged as a star in the game, Drake has received numerous comparisons to Kanye West. Before he made it as a big rap star, Drake enlisted Kanye's help on several of his mixtapes. They also recorded on "Forever" together, months before Drake released his debut album.

Right when Drake's career took off, Kanye West's career hit a major snag. Kanye being a good friend to Beyonce nearly cost him his career at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The media blacklisted West and he took time off. During this time off, Drake took the spotlight.

Currently, Drake and Kanye West are two of the most popular names in hip hop. There have been rumors of a slight feud between the two rappers. Drake called Kanye out over his album with Jay-Z, saying the former Roc-A-Fella rappers got the idea from him and Lil Wayne. Kanye West laughed the diss off and kept moving.

With the rumors at an all-time high, Kanye West and Drake have pulled an incredible feat. He invited Drake to record an a remix of his current single, "All of the Lights." The song already features Rihanna, Drake's ex-girlfriend. Aside from Rihanna, the song also features Kid Cudi and Lady GaGa. The remix will feature not only Drake, but also G.O.O.D. Music artist, Big Sean.

History has repeated itself for Kanye West, but not in a good way. Before "All of the Lights" was promoted as the third single from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the posse cut, "Monster," was picked as the third single. An unmastered version of the video was released to the public.

But, for unknown reasons, the official video was never actually premiered. During this time, "All of the Lights" was released to the radio. Late last month, the official video was released and created controversy. The video was removed from YouTube and television because it could cause seizures.

In addtion to being a health scare, critics panned the video because Kanye West got the idea from a French film. Even with all of the controversy, the video was reposted and the song is a hit. Now, Kanye West is ready to go back and complete the "Monster" video. Off the bat, the music video channels refuse to play the video.

A women's organization has filed petitions against all of the video networks if they air the video. In December, the video leaked and featured women's corpses laying around. The women feel as if the video will promote violence against women. Barely out of hot water with one video and Kanye West is already back in trouble because of another video, which has yet to be officially released by his team. Kanye West has taken everything in stride and has ignored his recent run of bad luck.

Right when it seemed as if Kanye West had put his career back on track, he got knocked off again. The Chicago rapper was doing great until the release of the "All of the Lights" single. First, Rihanna lies to a cancer charity to perform with West at the All-Star Game and then the video is critically-panned.

Critics have accused Kanye West of stealing the theme of the video from a French film. Fans have accepted the video and it has become a favorite. Despite what the critics have said, West's latest video was getting plenty of hits on YouTube. But, that will not be the case for too much longer.

Recently, the "All of the Lights" video was pulled from YouTube because it has caused seizures. Epilesy Action, a UK-based organization that promotes epiletic seizure awareness recently protested the video, saying the rapidly flashing lights could cause seizures. Because of this, the video was removed from YouTube and reuploaded with a disclaimer.

Things have been rough on Kanye West, but he is still going forward. Next month, he plans to release a collaboration album with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne, and then he plans to release his sixth studio album.

Once Kanye West released My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, he was back on top of the game. Late in the summer, he released the first single, "Power." A short video was released in promotion of the album and "Runaway" was promoted as the next single.

"Runaway" became a minor hit, but the album has sold very well over the past few months. Some credit Kanye West for saving the state of hip hop in 2010. Recently, he has been receiving heavy radio play for his "All of the Lights" single.

With Rihanna, Kanye West performed the song during halftime at the 2011 NBA All-Star Game. Upon seeing the performance, Donald Trump was heated with Rihanna after she backed out of his gig for her, claiming to be sick. Now, the video has caused trouble.

Earlier this week, the official video for "All of the Lights" was released and now Kanye West is being accused of stealing the theme from a movie. Many video critics have panned the video for the popular single for that lone reason. He is being accused of biting the video for the French film, Enter the Void. The producers of the French film have not commented on the Kanye West video.
