Mobb Deep plans New Album before end of 2011

When Prodigy was released from prison, he had a lot to say. The Queens rapper released a tell-all book and he discussed everyone in hip hop. Many rappers were offended with the things Prodigy stated in his book. P's fan base still wanted to hear more.

Fans have been waiting on new music for months. In addition to his own solo album, Prodigy announced a new album from Mobb Deep. Recently, Prodigy opened up about the new Mobb Deep album. He promised a lead single would be coming soon.

Prodigy told Bootleg Kev the album would be released before the end of this year. Among the producers of the new album will be Havoc, Mobb Deep's other half and the Alchemist. Prodigy also stated everything from the album will be top secret. So far, however, collaborations with Nas and Rick Ross have been confirmed.

Havoc talks new 50 Cent LP

Last week, 50 Cent released "Outlaw," the first single from his untitled upcoming album. 50 Cent is in the middle of re-arranging all of his business affairs. After spending most of his career with Interscope Records, 50 Cent moved his G-Unit label to EMI Records and he is considering leaving.

50 Cent has credited Interscope Records as the source of many of his recent issues both selling records and losing artists. The album he is working on is the last in his contract. In 2005, 50 added Mobb Deep to the G-Unit label. Two years ago, he was forced by Interscope Records to drop them.

With 50 Cent considering leaving Interscope Records, Havoc and Prodigy have been circling 50. Both have said Mobb Deep may end up returning to G-Unit Records. Havoc is providing production work for the upcoming album and Prodigy is also working with 50 Cent. Together, the duo has heard 50 Cent's entire new album.

Havoc said it should not come as a surprise of how good it sounds. With all of them being Queens guys, they appreciate the album having the Queens sound.

Mobb Deep performing together for First Time since 2008

Prodigy has been making his rounds and telling his experiences like he never has before. Not only is Prodigy boosting his own solo career, but he is focused on rebuilding Mobb Deep. In the three years he has been in prison, Havoc has been the lone representative for the duo.

In 2009, 50 Cent revealed Mobb Deep was no longer a part of G-Unit Records. Upon leaving, they appeared to be the only departing G-Unit artist without issues with 50 Cent. With 50 no longer a part of the Interscope family, Mobb Deep could end up with the label again.

However, Mobb Deep currently has plans of staying independent for now. The duo intend to release a new EP in order to get their feet wet. Along with independent promotions, the duo also has their own shows lined up. Mobb Deep will be performing together for the first time in three years at Best Buy Theater in Times Square.

Prodigy has Nas collaborations Stashed Away

Upon getting out of prison, Prodigy made his rounds to several websites. He confirmed being off G-Unit Records, but denied any issues with 50 Cent. When Mobb Deep first joined G-Unit, they also joined the feud with Nas.

Recently, Prodigy revealed Mobb Deep already had issues with Nas. When Nas made peace with Jay-Z, they were a little upset. This led to them signing with G-Unit and making diss records.

But, Prodigy reached out to Nas and the two collaborated immediately after P was free. The reception to "Dog Shit" has been positive. Prodigy warned more hits are on the way, as there are many unreleased Nas collabs.

Prodigy, of Mobb Deep, released from Prison

The Mobb Deep duo is whole, once again. In 2008, half of the group was taken away when Prodigy was sent to prison. But, Havoc held things down for the group, even when they were dropped by G-Unit Records.

Despite being dropped from G-Unit, Havoc insists there was no ill will with 50 Cent. When he discovered Prodigy had been released, 50 Cent offered congratulations to his former group.

50 Cent posted an image of Prodigy on his ThisIs50.com site. Reports say Prodigy was released earlier this week and he is now making his first appearances. Later this year, Prodigy and Havoc will record a new album.

The next Mobb Deep album will be their first release in nearly five years. Their last album, Blood Money, was released on G-Unit/Interscope. Mobb Deep is currently working on their eighth studio album, Blood Diamonds.

Prodigy prepares Post-Prison Tour

Next week, Prodigy will be released from prison. While he is not on the level of Lil Wayne, Prodigy does have major post-prison plans. On March 7, the Queens rapper will be back in society.

Introducing himself to the people, once again, Prodigy has set up a small tour. When he is released from prison, he plans to visit ten venues and perform. In addition to the mini-tour, he and Havoc are working on a new album.

Prodigy will also be releasing his memoirs, which will be covering his time in prison. In promotion for his book, P will also set off on a book tour. He will visit several major universities, starting next month.

Havoc wants to work with J. Cole

J. Cole has turned quite a few heads in the hip hop community. Long before anyone heard him, Jay-Z snatched him up. Because Jay-Z usually has the top-of-the-line production for his music, people expect J. Cole to. But, unlike Jay-Z, J. Cole is considered to be more of a socially-concious rapper. He is more likely to work with lesser-known artists.

Havoc is one-half of Mobb Deep, who has been in the game for a very long time. Aside from rapping, he is also an acclaimed producer and his style would mesh well with J. Cole. The only problem would be Jay-Z, who he has feuded with for the past thirteen years. Two years ago, Havoc said that he would never be cool with Jay-Z, but he would produce for him.

Even with his issues with Jay-Z, Havoc understands that Jay-Z is where the money is at. The people who work for and with Jay-Z are well-paid people and the people who let Havoc produce for them end up with hits. In spite of longstanding feuds, Havoc is a great producer and J. Cole is a great rapper. If they were to join forces, the collaboration would be incredible.
