Last night, Lil Wayne closed out the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards and fans took notice. Lil Wayne's outfit attracted more attention than his performance. Wearing spandex pants, Wayne performed "How to Love" and "John (If I Die Today)."

For years, Jim Jones has been a strong Lil Wayne supporter. The two rappers have made several songs together. Jones had almost recruited the Young Money CEO in his feud against Jay-Z. Since Weezy has called Jay-Z out, many would think Jim Jones would be reaching out.

This morning, Jim Jones did reach out, but not as expected. Through his Twitter account, Jim Jones said "real men don't wear spandex." It seems as if he was going after Lil Wayne. Jones went on to say it is funny how entertainers get rich and begin claiming Blood gang.

Without saying names, Jim Jones called out his old friend and former collaborator, Lil Wayne.

Recently, Game was asked about facial tattoos. Before the many facial tattoos in the hip hop industry, Game was the first. Game had the tear drops before they were popular. In addition to the tear drops, Game also had a butterfly tattoo.

During his feud with 50 Cent and G-Unit, Game's butterfly tattoo became the butt of several punchlines. In the middle of the feud, Game changed the tattoo from a butterfly to the L.A. symbol. Many thought it was because of the disses.

Method Man compares Shyheim to Lil Wayne

By The Hip Hop Writer

Currently, Method Man is recording with Shyheim on a collaborative album. The two have known each other for some time and Method Man believes he can take the game over. During a recording session, Meth took a break and discussed Shyheim.

Method Man said if Shyheim had the same breaks Lil Wayne had, he would be on the same level. His reason for making the comparison is because he said Shyheim and Lil Wayne are the same type of artist. Just like Lil Wayne growing up, Meth sees the same with Shyheim.

Shyheim was one of the youngest Wu-Tang affiliates and has released five studio albums. On the collaborative side of things, Shy is currently recording with Method Man. Their album does not have a set release date.

By The Hip Hop Writer

Last year, T.I. admittedly made the biggest mistake of his life. Months after being released from prison, he went on a trip to Los Angeles. During this trip, he was pulled over and searched. The Atlanta rapper was busted for drug possession.

Having only been out of prison for a few months, T.I. found himself headed back. Now, the eleven month sentence is up and T.I. says he is out for good. Back in June, he released a new single, "We Don't Get Down Like Y'all." The single is said to be followed with a new album.

Initial reports said T.I. would be released from prison and into a halfway house on September 29. However, again due to good behavior, T.I. will be released on August 31. T.I. promised he would not let the fans down again, after his last slip-up. With a renewed focus on his music and his business, T.I. is determined to make good on those promises.
