Dr. Dre forbids Game to diss 50 Cent on New Album

Ever since Game was dropped from Aftermath Entertainment in 2005, it has become tradition for him to dedicate a few of his lines to dissing 50 Cent. After a few years of stagnation, the feud between Game and 50 Cent reached a new peak last fall. In preparation of his return album, The R.E.D. Album, a lot of people were expecting Game to really go in on 50 Cent.

Game has been working on this album since last January and he wanted to release it last fall. However, an unexpected reunion with Dr. Dre put the project on hold. Game was invited to record on Detox by Snoop Dogg and the recording session led to Dr. Dre working on Game's album. Their collaboration led to Game returning to the label where he had began, Aftermath Entertainment.

Upon his return to the label, 50 Cent released the diss record, "So Disrespectful." He has many targets on the song, but the main rival is Game. The other target on the song is Dr. Dre. For the past few years, 50 Cent has been taking light jabs at Dr. Dre. Their issues finally came to a head when Dr. Dre began working with Ashanti and Ja Rule. Then, he officially signed Game back to Aftermath Entertainment, just as Ja Rule has invited them all to tour with him. This has led to 50 Cent leaving the label, entirely.

This would be the perfect opportunity for Game to not only fill 50 Cent's shoes, but to also diss him. With the controversy creator, 50 Cent finally out of the Aftermath camp, Dr. Dre wants his artists to maintain the peace and that includes Game. To simply write 50 Cent out of the picture, Dr. Dre has informed Game that he will have to avoid mentioning 50 Cent, by name, on his new album. He does have the option to diss 50 Cent anyway, but that would result in him being dropped by Aftermath Entertainment.
