Before he went to prison, Lil Wayne set himself up so his crew would still be on top of the game. Not only did he record enough music to hold fans over, but he also unleashed Drake and Nicki Minaj. Now, with only a month left in prison, Lil Wayne is preparing to make his return to the public.
For the most part, Lil Wayne has been behaving himself in prison. But, much like detention, at the end of the day, the person being punished gets restless. Recently, Wayne was caught with a prohibited item, an MP3 player. While the item is not dangerous, it is also not allowed.
Because of this, Lil Wayne has been sentenced to 23 hours of solitary confinement every day for the next month. Even with the punishment, there will be nothing stopping Wayne from getting out on November 4. This will be the same day he ends up releasing his ninth album, Tha Carter IV. With all the music coming from Young Money this year, it is only right Lil Wayne closes the year for the fans.
