As he prepares to release his second album, Kid CuDi has to come to terms with an inconvenient truth, he's done with rap. Ever since 2007, he has been on the mixtape scene. Last spring, he burst onto the scene when "Day 'n' Nite" finally gained traction. The single led people into his world when he released Man on the Moon.

Following the success of the album, Kid CuDi was inspired and began putting his second album together. After a couple of title changes, it was revealed that Kid CuDi would name the album Man on the Moon II. Now a power player in the game, Kid CuDi is preparing this album for a fourth quarter release.

The release date looms closer and closer and Kid CuDi is feeling less and less fulfilled by rap music. Quickly, he is turning his attention to his new rock group. His change of focus is one reason why Kid CuDi has not been featured on too many more of Kanye West's new songs. Kid Cudi said he is more excited when people ask him to create hooks instead of doing verses.

Now a rocker, Kid CuDi said his new love is with the guitar. One reason for him loving the guitar is because he never thought he would be able to play an instrument. Kid CuDi is currently the front man for a new rock band called The Wizards. Their debut album will be released after CuDi releases his debut album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. The next Man on the Moon release will be coming next week on November 4, 2010.
