Through his career, Swizz Beatz is getting the opportunity to do things he never thought he would be able to do. Growing up, his focus was on music and he went directly from school to working for his uncles at Ruff Ryders. In 1998, he took over the company and turned it into a label behind the strength of DMX.
For the past year, Swizz Beatz has been working to mix all of his projects into one. While he has been the head of Ruff Ryders, he created his own Full Surface label too. Recently, he decided to put his label under the Ruff Ryders' umbrella and land an exclusive distribution deal for the label.
Outside of his business expertise, Swizz Beatz is known as one of the greatest music producers of this generation. Now, Swizzy has the chance to pass his greatness along to students. While he never attended college, Swizz Beatz now has the opportunity to teach at NYU. Of course, he will be teaching about his production work.
Every Monday, fans will be able to download new parts of his latest project.
