The rap game has been rapidly changing and if it is up to Dos Dilligence, the change will continue to take place. Dos is not like most rappers in the game, as he promotes positivty. For the past eleven years, he has been heavy in the underground.

But, he hopes he can break into the big time late this year and into 2011. Among other things, he feels a good education is what people need in order to make it in life. A few minutes ago, Dos Dilligence did a phone interview with Hip Hop Vibe and he opened up on a number of things.

HHV: How long have you been in the game?
DD: Since 1999, I began as a beatmaker.
HHV: Are you currently signed to a label?
DD: I am not signed to a label, instead I have a few partnerships, my main one is with Jason Cook.
HHV: Could you tell us who Jason Cook is?
DD: He is the man who has helped me each step of the way with my career.
HHV: How did you two meet?
DD: We met when my parents sent my brother and I to the Boys & Girls Club and Jason was a director. He helped me with my schoolwork and he encouraged me to go to college.
HHV: It is rare for a rapper to talk about going to college. How important do you feel education is?
DD: Education is very important because you are taught a little bit about everything. You also get to meet new people you would not have met otherwise. Plus, when you are taught a little bit, you learn not to fall for every little trick.
HHV: How have you been influenced by No Limit, Cash Money, and Lil Wayne?
DD: I have a lot of respect for them. They are all very talented artists and they are all great businessmen.
HHV: Before rap, what did you like to do?
DD: I used to make tracks, that is my passion, but I ended up rapping when my beats were not as popular as I would have liked for them to be. I did not want wasted beats so I used them myself.
HHV: Do you do mixtapes or albums?
DD: There is no classification, I make original music, but it has not been pushed the way I want it to be due to financial limitations. Most of my music was created alongside Jason Cook.
HHV: What was your childhood like?
DD: My childhood was different than most as my father was Nigerian and my mother was Creole, but I was still raised right with family values instilled in me.
HHV: What kind of music do you listen to?
DD: I listen to all types of music, anything with a message and a beat. I listen to Techno, Country, Rock, and of course Rap.
HHV: Ten years from now, in December 2020, where do you see yourself?
DD: At that point, I see myself as a successful businessman being the head of a major conglomerate and if hip hop is still hot I will still be rapping and making beats.
HHV: Well, that's all we have for you Dos Dilligence, we hope to hear good things from you.
DD: Thank you so much!
