Gucci Mane facing over One Year in Prison

The year of 2009 was good to Gucci Mane as he finally proved to the hip hop world that he was a good rapper. He closed the year with his highly popular The State vs. Radric Davis. That album solidified the great year Gucci Mane had. He hoped 2010 would be just as good, if not better.
It is safe to say 2010 did not go the way Gucci Mane had hoped with his troubles with the law. The Atlanta rapper had already faced prison in 2009, but was let off on parole. Last year, Gucci Mane was treading on thin ice. In November, he violated his parole with multiple driving violations and damaging government property.
None of this is a good look for Gucci Mane, as he was just released from prison on drug charges. Due to yet another run-in with the police, it is said that Gucci Mane will face over a year in prison. Some reports say he may face serving a felony sentence. His legal team is hoping the court will be easy on the rapper and sentence him to house arrest.
The hearing is set for January 24.
