In 2009, Lil Wayne was recruited by Madonna, but she has ties within hip hop. For the most part, he has been the king of rap, despite his own rock endeavors. Wayne has desperately wanted to branch out into other genres. Having worked with minor artists in other genres, his major chance is on the way.

Limp Bizkit is working on their latest album and Lil Wayne was their top recruit. Wayne has been working with the group and his collaboration could end up being a single. Ever since 2007, Wayne has considered branching out into rock, his favorite genre of music.
