Last year, 50 Cent announced he was recording a new album, which would be released by the fall. 50 Cent ended up pushing this release date back when he took a break from recording. While his music fell from grace, 50 Cent closed several business deals, establishing his wealth for years to come.

Numerous times, 50 Cent has stated he does not have to rap for a living. Still, the G-Unit Records CEO wants to dominate the entire rap game. Because of this, he continued to work on his fifth studio album, even establishing a new deal with EMI Records. After Lloyd Banks' success with H.F.M. 2, 50 is ready for his comeback.

Chris Lighty, 50 Cent's manager, recently discussed the upcoming album. While he was not sure about the exact release date, Lighty said it would come before the end of the year. Chris Lighty feels 50 Cent may release his next album before the end of the fall season, how he released his previous album. This time around, all of the marketing will be handled by 50 Cent and his management team.
