Ever since he gave "SportsCenter" a shout out on his Dedication 2 mixtape, Lil Wayne has been making appearances on ESPN. Earlier this year, Wayne made a week-long guest appearance on ESPN. It has become a tradition, of sorts, for Lil Wayne to make ESPN appearances.
During his appearance on "ESPN First Take," Lil Wayne talked about his Sorry 4 The Wait mixtape. Wayne informed the ESPN panel about the mixtape, saying it was a gift to the fans. While on, Wayne was also asked about Tha Carter IV. Lil Wayne told ESPN his newest album will be about growth.
Lil Wayne said he is a sports fanatic. He said he likes every sport possible. Not only is he a fan of every sport, he has a favorite player and a favorite team in each sports league.
