Lil Wayne facing suit over "How to Love" beat

With his album due in a little over a week, Lil Wayne is back in the headlines. Perhaps, the most discussed single off the album has been his "How to Love" single. The song is the first song in which Wayne sings, without the auto-tune.

Earlier this summer, "How to Love" became a hit. Now, with the album only days away, it is the center of controversy. Rich Rick, a rapper, claims to have purchased the right to that beat five years ago. Rick claimed Drumma Boy sold the beat to Wayne and that he was entitled to 35% royalties, in return.

Rich Rick is suing Drumma Boy, Lil Wayne, and others in the lawsuit. Nearly all of Lil Wayne's post-2008 singles have had lawsuits involved, Bangladesh, Deezle, and Jim Jonsin, producers of current hits from Wayne, have filed suits, at one time or another, against Lil Wayne.
