After being out of the public eye for nearly a year, Soulja Boy returned last summer with his "Pretty Boy Swag" hit. The song quickly became a hit. Soulja Boy is among many rappers who like to think they are good looking. Given the female following he has, this is a safe assumption.

Perhaps in an attempt to maintain the "pretty boy swag," Soulja Boy has decided to remove his facial tattoos. Throughout his career, he has had more and more tattoos placed on his face. At the time, it did not seem like too big of a deal. But, due to his marketability, Soulja Boy has viable options outside of Hollywood.

The new career opportunities, paired with the threat of old age, have prompted Soulja Boy to have his tattoos removed. Without the facial tattos, Soulja Boy will keep his other tattoos. In 2007, Chamillionaire spoke of how he did not go overboard with tattoos because he could have the opportunities to do other things besides rapping.
