Hip hop is evolving and 2011 has been a transitional year for the genre. While many new rappers have debuted new albums, the veterans have been releasing books. Common recently released his memoirs, One Day It'll All Make Sense.
Throughout his career, Common has released several albums and he waited for them to debut on the Billboard Hot 100. Now an author, Common waited for his book to debut on the New York Times best sellers' list.
Common's book debuted at number twenty on the New York Times best sellers list. After Common discovered the sales of his book and the top twenty debut, he took the time to thank his fans.
