The album was immediately delayed until 2010, so Dr. Dre could re-work a few of the tracks on the album. However, the album faced more delays.
Many laid blame on R.E.D. delays on Dr. Dre, as it takes him long periods of time to complete albums. At one point, Game even said it was due to Dr. Dre why the album took so long. But, a couple of weeks ago, Game was telling a different story. Game said his personal life delayed The R.E.D. Album.
Game said his personal life and then recording his album delayed the release. While recording music, Game would take long breaks in order to spend time with his children. When he would return to recording, he would have a different concept. All the changes and then some songs becoming outdated led to the album being changed several times.
