Lil Wayne discusses "Tha Carter IV" and Recent Success

The past few months have been very good for Lil Wayne. Fresh out of prison, the fans have welcomed him back with open arms and now his Tha Carter IV is out. Both the fans and the critics love his new music and Lil Wayne set another record while he was at it.

Recently, the Young Money CEO spoke with MTV2 about his new album and his string of success. Much like all other anticipated albums, Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV leaked. Unlike many other artists, Lil Wayne was happy about this. Lil Wayne said he was glad the album leaked.

Speaking on Tha Carter IV, Lil Wayne said "we did real good this time." Despite the leak, his album is still expected to sell close to 1 million copies in its first week. Speaking on the leak, Wayne said "it means the people just wanted to hear it." Lil Wayne pointed out how many other albums from other artists could leak and they never do.
