Last year, Nas had plans to release a second installation of his 2002 album, The Lost Tapes. However, Def Jam would not allow him to release the album. Frustrated, Nas scrapped the album and began working on Life is Good.

During the spring, Nas discussed his Life is Good album, explaining the title. After being out of touch for a few months, the Queens rapper resurfaced with "Nasty," with the video only days away. Now, Nas is hoping for a collaboration with Scarface on the album.

Aside from Life is Good, Nas said he still may consider working on The Lost Tapes 2. If he completes Life is Good in time, Nas said he may make it a double album, including the new Lost Tapes album in the package.
