Saying Rick Ross has come a long way is a major understatement. When he first signed with Def Jam, Ross was still not a big name. It was not until the release of his sophomore effort, Trilla, when he became known as more than a regional rapper.

Fast forward three years, Rick Ross has done everything imaginable. He successfully feuded with 50 Cent, gained massive radio play, and is the head of his own record label. Earlier this year, Rick Ross established a distribution deal for Maybach Music with Warner Bros.

While many say Rick Ross is on top of the game, he says he is at number two. Ross said he is spending his last days at number two, watching number one do his thing. By the way things seem, Lil Wayne is more than likely the number one Rick Ross is talking about. Ross said following the release of God Forgives, I Don't, he will be on top of the rap world.
