For years, Ohio has been overlooked in the hip hop scene. However, with the emergence of Kid Cudi, other Ohio rappers have entered the game. Stalley is among the Ohio rappers forcing their way into the game.

Probably lost in the frey, Stalley was among the number of artists signed to Maybach Music. As a part of one of the hottest labels, the signing solidifies how big Ohio hip hop is becoming. Stalley credits himself, along with many others.

Stalley said Chip Tha Ripper, Kid Cudi, and Machine Gun Kelly are among the rappers putting Ohio on the map. While they are putting Ohio hip hop on the map, Stalley said there has always been talent here.
