XXL began a tournament on August 15, the beginning of their Tupac month. In the tournament, they counted down the top Tupac songs of all-time. There were different categories in helping determine this.
The categories were "Interscope years," "Death Row years," "posthumous releases," and "featured verses." His "Changes" single was released on his 1998 Greatest Hits album, two years following his untimely, tragic, death.
The posthumous "Changes" won the tournament, defeating "Last Muthafucka Breathin,” “I Wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto,” “Letter to My Unborn” and “Thugz Mansion” in the Posthumous Bracket and “Hit ‘Em Up” in the semifinals.
