DMX says he is over Drug Addiction

Throughout his career, and most of his life, DMX has dealt with a major drug addicition. During the height of his career, DMX had control over his addiction. But, when he began branching out, he lost control. Many credit his addition to drugs to his eventual downfall.

During a 2007 interview, Ja Rule discussed DMX and said he needs to get off drugs. At the time, Ja Rule and DMX were still feuding and his former friend was asked about their relationship. Ja Rule said he does not diss DMX anymore because he knows the real him.

In 2009, the two rappers mended fences. Two years later, DMX is on the comeback trail, with a new album on the way. Today, X had a major announcement, he is off drugs. DMX credits this healing to his ten children.

DMX' pastor said he wants him to win and it is obvious, by looking at him, he is not strung out on drugs and alcohol any longer. Now, DMX says he is on the narrow road of positivity.
