Skillz says the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards is full of Wack Rappers

No stranger to controversy, Skillz called out several of the hottest rappers in the current rap scene. Usually, Skillz waits until the end of the year to call out the stars. However, his visit to the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards prompted an earlier appearance.

Skillz was upset because he had to hustle to make it to the awards show and no one brought their A-game. Skillz said he never thought he would lose so much respect for so many rappers in one day. He went on to say "those cats were supposed to be hot."

When asked why he lost so much respect for the rappers, Skillz said it was because none of them came prepared. Skillz said he saw a couple of rappers, who are all over every hip hop media outlet and in regular rotation, have to do their verses over sixty-four times. While mistakes are common, Skillz said they messed up on 16 bars, and not towards the end, they messed up at the start.

Skillz questioned if they wrote their own rhymes and said the hip hop sites have misrepresented several artists in the game. To the rappers, Skillz said know your lyrics and come prepared. Skillz said he truly felt sorry for DJ Premier.
