G-Unit officially began falling apart when 50 Cent revealed all was not well between he and Young Buck. During his time with G-Unit, Young Buck seemed to be the most-loyal member of G-Unit. But, when 50 Cent began dissing him, Young Buck did not call back. Throughout the spring of 2008, the two rappers traded disses.

50 Cent disclosed how much money he had been giving to Young Buck over the past five years. On his 2009 diss record, "So Disrespectful," 50 Cent also spoke on this. During this period of time, 50 Cent said he would love to get Young Buck off his record label. But, first he wanted to get his money back off the rapper.

After investing millions of dollars in Young Buck, 50 Cent said he wanted one hot album from Young Buck, which would sell. Each album Young Buck has sent to the G-Unit offices has been rejected by 50 Cent. While Young Buck has been trying to re-establish his career, he has run into trouble. Last year, Young Buck filed for bankruptcy and now he is facing liquidation. Buck's legal team is blaming this on 50 Cent, who will not confirm, deny, or amend Young Buck's deal with G-Unit.

While much of the blame is being placed on 50 Cent, Young Buck's legal team is also blaming missing funds on his issues. A former acquaintance of Buck's opened an account for one of his companies and unauthorized payments were made from this account. The former acquaintance has been unreachable.
