In a little less than a month, J. Cole will release his long-awaited debut album. While the fans are excited, no one is as excited as J. Cole. With his album coming shortly, J. Cole decided to preview his album to the fans.

Recently, J. Cole sat down with HipHopCanada to talk about his upcoming album. J. Cole said the album will have a myraid of topics, among them, emotion. He said his song, "Lost Ones," is a tear-jerker.

Despite the serious tone of the album, J. Cole said there will be plenty of upbeat songs on the album too. Aside from the serious songs, J. Cole does have party records. Among the party records is his Trey Songz-assisted, "Can't Get Enough."

J. Cole talks "Work Out" video

The official video for J. Cole's "Work Out" was expected to premiere today on "106 & Park." While the video was expected to premiere on BET, the video leaked to the internet first. The "Work Out" video did well on Vevo and was posted on several hip hop sites.

Upon the release of the video, many fans complained about it looking low budget. With "Work Out" being the first official single off his Roc Nation debut, fans expected more. J. Cole explained the video was shot twice. The Fayetteville rapper said the video was shot twice to avoid the video leaking.

With the video leaking anyway, J. Cole talked about the other singles off his album. J. Cole said official videos are also coming for "Can't Get Enough" and "Lost Ones." He said those videos will premiere closer to the September 27 release date of his debut album. After numerous delays, the album will be released, without delay, on September 27.
