In 2003, 50 Cent burst onto the scene, quickly going from a poor man to a rich man. While 50 Cent played the role of a man with no loyalties and nothing to lose, he did have a crew to look out for. After he landed a secure deal for his G-Unit crew, he put them on.

Late in 2003, 50 Cent released an album with G-Unit to introduce the fans. The favorite outside of 50 Cent was his sidekick, Lloyd Banks. Following the promotion of G-Unit, the focus shifted to Lloyd Banks. His first single came early in 2004 and his album came during the summer.

At only 20 years old, Lloyd Banks had the biggest hit of the summer on his hands. Because he was with G-Unit, Banks was the most-popular rapper in the game. Soon, he went from being a poor man riding 50 Cent to being a young millionaire. As time has gone on, Lloyd Banks has not experienced success of that magnitude since, so he enjoyed it while it lasted.

Seven years after his run began, Lloyd Banks discussed the life that he now lives. He said he saves every bit of money that he makes. At 20 years old and being a millionaire, Banks admitted it scared him. The last thing he wanted to do was blow all of the money that he had made, so he decided not to touch it. Banks said he really did not need too much of his own stuff because 50 Cent willingly shared with him. Usually, they rode in cars owned by 50 and he lived much to 50's expense.
