Ja Rule reveals that Lil Wayne will not be Sentenced until Next Week

Three years ago, Ja Rule teamed up with Lil Wayne for his single, "Uhhh Ohh!." The song did not become a hit, but Rule and Wayne also teamed up for a music video. This video took place at various locations across New York City. Throughout the video, Lil Wayne was introduced to members of the Murder Inc. crew. The collaboration surprised a few people, but Ja Rule revealed that he had been friends with Lil Wayne for some time.

It is obvious in the "Uhhh Ohh!" video that the two rappers have incredible chemistry. The video looks very much like a celebration as both rappers appeared to be having fun. After the video, each rapper went their seaparate ways. Despite not being at the same place, both rappers were busted for the same thing. People in the area smelled marijuana coming from Lil Wayne's bus. Across town, the same smell was coming from Ja Rule's bus.

After the authorities were notified, both buses were searched, where guns and drugs were found. As a result, Ja Rule and Lil Wayne reunited a little sooner than planned. They spent the night behind bars before getting out on bail. In November 2007, both rappers were summoned to court. They, alongside Busta Rhymes and Remy Ma, were all in the courtroom within an hour of each other, a few were in at the same time. In the end, both rappers were sentenced, but their bail was not revoked. Just now, they are getting around to sentencing Lil Wayne, who is supposed to be sentenced to a year in prison.

Lil Wayne missed his first appearance in court because of his broken teeth. The court then rescheduled his hearing for this week. Wayne was able to get off again because the courtroom caught on fire. Because of the constant push backs, Lil Wayne will be in court the same time that Ja Rule will be. Earlier today, he went to the courthouse, only to find out that it is still closed, due to the fire. After realizing that he and Lil Wayne had some time off, Rule took to his Twitter. There, he revealed that Lil Wayne will have to wait one more week before he is sentenced because the courthouse is closed until March 8, 2010.
